Chelmsford midfielder set to stay until mid January

Warren Whitely has extended his loan at Maidstone United for another month.

The Chelmsford City man has made a favourable impression at the Gallagher Stadium, and scored his first goal for the club in last Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Three Bridges.

The winger’s loan spell will now run until mid-January.

Maidstone manager Jay Saunders told the club’s official website: “Warren has enjoyed his time at the club and is keen to stay. He hadn’t played a lot of games this season prior to joining us – he has got better as his loan spell has gone on and hopefully he will keep on improving as he gets more games under his belt.”
