James Tredwell is hoping Kent can get two wins under their belt this week to put their t20 disappointment behind them, starting today against Sussex.
The Spitfires play the Sharks at Arundel today, weather permitting, as the county get back to CB40 action, before they re-start the county championship cricket at the end of the week against Glamorgan.
Tredwell said: “We are looking forward to getting back into it, and County Championship cricket too, as I believe we can be successful in both.
“We didn’t do as well as we hoped in the t20 but a couple of early wins, in this next batch of matches, will lift us up the CB40 table and we just need to keep picking up positive results in the championship to maintain our good start.
“Sussex will prove stern opponents, because they are a very good side, but we are all looking forward to it. Games between the two counties are always keenly contested and Arundel is a lovely venue.”
