Kent spinner in squad for final match against West Indies.
Kent spinner James Tredwell has been included in the England squad for the final match against West Indies at Headingley.
The England selectors have decided to rest Stuart Broad, Tim Bresnan, and Graeme Swann, paving the way for Tredwell’s recall.
England lead the Natwest against West Indies 2-0, with the final match taking place at Headingley Carnegie on Friday. Surrey’s Stuart Meaker and Warwickshire’s Chris Woakes have also been included.
National selector, Geoff Miller, said: “The fact that we have already won the NatWest series means we are able to take the opportunity to rest three players ahead of next week’s series against Australia and take a closer look at players who are likely to feature in our limited overs planning going forward.”
