Liam Daish’s side have won three of their last four games to build a valuable 12-point cushion over the Conference Premier’s bottom four. They swept Tamworth aside 3-0 in the second half on Tuesday night and will be hoping for more of the same against the Stags, who have not won on their last eight away trips in the division.

The Conference South’s form team are second-placed Dartford, who are attempting to win their fifth straight game when rock bottom Thurrock visit Princes Park.

Park View Road hosts the game of the day, as third-placed Welling United begin life after Andy Pugh at home to Chelmsford City in fourth. Despite a six-game unbeaten run Dover Athletic remain adrift of the play-off positions, so will need another three points from their clash with Salisbury City at Crabble, while lowly Bromley face a tough trip to Weston-super-Mare, who have won five of their last six home games.

A run of five successive wins has taken Margate to within reach of the Ryman Premier’s play-off places ahead of a trip to Carshalton Athletic. Cray Wanderers start the day fifth ahead of a home game against an out of sorts Kingstonian.

Maidstone United and Folkestone Invicta will both be looking to make the most of home advantage to stay in the Ryman Division One title hunt as they welcome Whyteleafe and Merstham respectively. The pair will also have one eye on Salters Lane, where Faversham Town could do them a favour by taking points off leaders Bognor Regis Town.

Hythe Town retain hopes of gatecrashing the play-off places but face a stiff test with a trip to Chipstead, who are also in a rich vein of form. Whitstable Town claimed a crucial victory last weekend and have a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time since August when Crawley Down visit the Belmont, while Sittingbourne make the long trip to Worthing.

Kent League leaders Herne Bay take their unbeaten record to VCD Athletic, while the division’s other main game sees fellow top four sides Canterbury City and Erith & Belvedere meet at Winch’s Field.
