Forumal One cars, live music, and air displays at Brands Hatch

The annual Lotus Festival returns to Brands Hatch next weekend and it promises to be one of the best yet, with a stellar line-up of classic and modern vehicles expected at the circuit.

In the past the event has seen Formula One demonstrations, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime collection of all of the Norfolk marque’s F1 cars and some of the rarest products to leave the factory.

For this year’s festival, which takes place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th, Lotus will be bringing along its product range, some of which will be running on the circuit, while Classic Team Lotus will have a selection of classic F1 cars from the past, along with privately- owned cars and action on the Brands Hatch rally stage from Sunbeams and more.

There promises to be a carnival atmosphere at the track, with trade stands, air displays, live music and club displays adding to the weekend.

There is also a full race programme headlined by the Lotus Cup UK and Elise Tophy.

Meanwhile, the 50th anniversary of the Elan will be celebrated with a special race, while the 1992 gold-winning pursuit bike will be a star attraction.
