Medway Dragons take on Greenwich Admirals tomorrow.
The play-off dream is still in sight for the Medway Dragons as they head into the final two games of the season.
The Dragons visit Greenwich Admirals tomorrow in a must-win game if they are to make the play-offs, before hosting the Southampton Spitfires in what could be the final game of the season in two weeks time.
The Dragons sit just a place off the bottom of the table, but the competitiveness of the league has meant they are just a point adrift of the Admirals who have played a game less and are third, and three points below the Spitfires, who are second.
They go into the game against their rivals tomorrow with the confidence that they can give them a run for their money having played out a 24-all draw at the Garrison Stadium at the end of June.
They also pushed the Spitfires all the way in the season opener losing 38-32.
First team coach Mark Roughsedge said: “We are in the mix for the play-offs, we are still in with a shout. We are pretty confident about getting something from both games. It’s a pretty big game this weekend
“It’s a young squad we have taken forward and they have come up against adversity.
“We have had a lot of juniors come through so it’s pleasing from that point of view.”
