X-Factor dance workshops planned for Spring break

X-Factor fans are being given the chance to learn the dance steps to their favourite hits.

Brook Theatre dance sessions will see youngsters learn the moves to some of JLS’ top tracks and Alexandra Burke’s hits.

The JLS lessons are available on Tuesday, April 6 between 10am and 3.30pm, while the Alexandra Burke sessions are available the following week.

Budding stage musical stars will also get a chance to recreate Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar in a drama workshop running from Tuesday, 6 to Friday 9 April from 10am to 4pm each day.

The Medway based Icon theatre will be running a puppet workshop for 8 to 11-year-olds, teaching them how to make their own puppets and some tricks of the trade on Monday, April 12 between 10am and 4pm.

All the Brook Theatre workshops include a performance at the end of the day.

Prices start at £14. Places will need to be booked in advance.

Younger children can enjoy free storytelling, crafts, balloon art and circus tricks at a variety of venues during spring break.

These sessions take place on:

Wednesday, April 7 from 10am to 12noon at Upnor Castle and from 2-4pm at High Halstow Village Hall.

Thursday, April 8 at Capstone Country Park play area, from 10am to 12noon and at Cuxton Library from 2-4pm.

Friday, April 9 at Cliffe Woods Community Hall from 10am to 12noon.
