E-fit of the gunman
An e-fit has been issued of a man wanted by police in connection with last week’s road-rage attack in Alkham in which a driver was shot.

The shooting happened on Monday night last week (Oct 26) at about 10pm and the victim is recovering in Ashford’s William Harvey Hospital.

It is thought the gunman was driving a light-coloured Renault Laguna, which was probably less than three years old.

The car had alloy wheels and a chrome trim around the windows. After the incident the man drove off towards Dover.

Police would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man in the image or who knows anything about Renault Laguna.

Police are also still appealing for the attacker to contact them.

Anyone with information can phone the major crime investigation unit at Folkestone police station on 01303 289600.

Alternatively, phone Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
