A local actress has found herself in an advert for the new album by You’re Beautiful star James Blunt.

Karol Steele, from Dover, is one of four speaking roles in the advert for the singer’s new album, The Afterlove.

The advert depicts a group of people sat in a room having to admit to being James Blunt fans. The self-deprecating advert is called ‘James Blunt Anonymous’.

Says the actress, who plays Jane in the one-minute long advert: “James was was a very nice man, funny, self-effacing, and polite - he thanked us all for helping him with the advert, and even autographed my CDs.”
