UPDATE: Second man charged with murder after body discovered in Tunbridge Wells’ car park

The identity of the victim has been revealed

A second man is due to appear in court following the death of a man in Tunbridge Wells.

James Marshall-Gun, 29, of Hadlow Road in Tonbridge was arrested yesterday and will appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Monday) having been charged with murder.

The body of 43-year-old Giles Metcalfe was found in the early hours of Tuesday, March 7.

Police had been called after a fire broke out in the stairway of Torrington Road car park.

A post mortem revealed Mr Metcalfe had died from the effects of the fire.

Last week 34-year-old Dean Lewis was remanded in custody after appearing before Medway magistrates charged with Mr Metcalfe’s murder.
