UPDATE: Missing Dartford man found ‘safe and well’ after appeal launched by friends

Police who were appealing for help locating a missing Dartford man have stated he has been found “safe and well”

Robert Baker, 64, went missing at around 1.15pm on Wednesday, May 17.

A police spokesperson said: “Please be aware that the 64-year-old man who was reported missing from Dartford has been located.”

Kerry Simmons posted on Facebook: “If anyone sees this man his name is Bob, he could be anywhere between Dartford and Gravesend.

“He has been missing since being discharged from hospital yesterdau. If anyone has seen him could you either contact myself or the police as we are all really worried about him. He isn’t very well. Thank you.”

Mr Baker’s neighbour Nicola Lown, said: “He is lovely and will be lost. He’s very approachable. If anyone sees him please contact the police as soon as possible. Police and rescue teams are looking for him but cannot find him anywhere. We need more eyes. Thanks in advance.”
