A toddler has been rushed to a London hospital after falling from third floor window in Folkestone this afternoon (Friday).

The incident took place at around 2.15pm after a two-year-old boy fell from the building in Cheriton Road.

Air ambulance took the boy to London’s King’s College Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Kent Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A neighbour said: “The first thing we knew was that there were a lot of police cars, a forensics van and the air ambulance.

“The toddler’s mother was in the house at the time of the accident.

“It was all very disturbing. We just hope the little boy is OK.”
