Train passengers in a flap as two SWANS found trapped on line at Wateringbury

The Medway Valley Line is currently blocked

Commuters are facing rail chaos this afternoon after two swans became trapped on the line.

The Medway Valley Line is currently blocked after the birds were found at Wateringbury, near Maidstone, just after 2.30pm.

A Southeastern spokesperson said: “There are two swans and four cygnets on the line at Wateringbury, response staff are en route to try to move them on.”
