Three remain in custody after ‘brothel’ discovered in Rochester

Arrests were made in Delce Road on Monday

Three people are in police custody having been arrested on suspicion of running a brothel in Rochester.

The arrests were made at around 3pm on Monday in Delce Road after officers received a report two hours earlier that a brothel was being run from a property in the road.

Officers attended the address and two people, a woman, 39, and a man, 53, both from Rochester, were arrested on suspicion of running a brothel.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested a short time later in Beechings Road, Lordswood on similar suspicion.

All three people were also arrested on suspicion of entering the UK illegally.

The trio remain in police custody at this time while officers carry out further enquiries.
