Two-car crash took place on Monday night at Morleys Roundabout

Fire crews had to use specialist equipment to help cut a woman free from the wreckage of a car following a smash in Sevenoaks on Monday evening.

Emergency teams were called just before 6.30pm after reports of a two-car crash at the Morleys Roundabout on the B245, close to the exit to the A21.

The smash caused the road to be close for around an hour and a half as teams freed the woman trapped by cutting the roof off one of the cars involved.

She was then passed to waiting ambulance teams. Her condition is not known.

The scene was eventually cleared by around 8.20pm.
