Follows warrants on houses in Cavell Way

Two men have been charged with drug offences after 72 plants were seized during a raid on houses in a Sittingbourne street.

Police issued warrants on residential properties in Cavell Way on June 13. Two men were charged on August 3.

Ian Haben, 47, from Cavell Way, was charged with production of cannabis and the possession of a class B drug. He will appear at Mid Kent Magistrates on September 3.

Stephen Sharp, 32, of Cavell Way, was charged with the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity without authorisation. He will appear at Mid Kent Magistrates on August 29.

A 27 year old woman was also cautioned for the possession of cannabis.
