No injuries were reported in the blaze

Crews who tackled a kitchen fire in Ramsgate on Tuesday are still investigating the cause.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on the ground floor of a two-storey house in Ringold Avenue at around 10.40am.

A spokesperson said: “Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

“There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.”
