Appeal for help following wine bar and flats fires

Police say two fires in Folkestone on Sunday morning are being treated as arson.

Emergency services were called after the incidents took place between 2am and 3.15am - both in Church Street.

A wine bar and a communal entrance to flats were targeted in the incident.

Police say they believe the fires were started deliberately. No one was injured as a result of the arson attacks.

Officers are investigating the incident and ask for witnesses to contact them on 01303 289 433.
