Police open investigation into ‘suspicious’ Faversham fire

Police have opened an investigation into a “suspicious” fire at commercial premises in Faversham.

Fire crews attended the scene in Preston Street just after 9am on Wednesday in which two adjacent properties were also damaged by the blaze.

All buildings were believed to be unoccupied at the time.

Work is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident and anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to call Kent Police on 01795 419119 quoting XY/17730/17.
