Police in Ramsgate charge two people over distraction burglary

Kent Police officers investigating a distraction burglary in Ramsgate have charged two people.

A property in Northwood Road was reported to have been burgled between 12.30pm and 5pm on March 30, during which a handbag containing cash, bank cards and other personal items, was reported stolen.

Lindsey Sprackling, 52, and Christopher McDonagh, 40, both of Hertford Street in Ramsgate have been charged with burglary and theft in connection with the incident.

McDonagh has been remanded in custody and Sprackling has been released on bail.

They are both due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, May 15.
