Police hunt for Good Samaritans who helped Canterbury assault victim

Police are on the hunt for two Good Samaritans who helped an assault victim in Canterbury.

The incident happened on Military Road, near the roundabout with Tourtel Road, between 11pm and midnight on Easter Sunday.

A woman in her 20s was reportedly assaulted by a man who was known to her before two other men shouted at him to stop.

She was not seriously injured during the incident and walked home afterwards.

The witnesses or anyone else who saw what happened are urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/14896/17.
