Will appear before magistrates tomorrow

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident last week.

Stephen Boorman, 27, of Coolinge Road, Folkestone is due to appear before magistrates in the town on Monday (August 20) charged with the attempted murder of a 44-year-old man.

The incident took place on August 16 just after 6pm on Blackbull Road,

The injured man is being treated at a London hospital where he is in a critical but stable condition.

A 29-year-old Folkestone man also arrested on Thursday has been released without charge from police custody.
