Police were called on Wednesday evening

A Dartford man has been arrested following a stabbing near the Priory Shopping Centre yesterday (Wednesday) evening.

Police were called to Priory Market Place at 7.47pm after a fight reportedly broke out amongst a group men.

One man was stabbed in the shoulder during the altercation, and is receiving treatment at a London hospital.

A 26-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident remains in custody.

Enquiries are ongoing.
