The crash occurred between junctions 6 and 5 on the anti-clockwise carriageway

Traffic is finally beginning to ease after several hours of delays on the M25 following a smash this afternoon.

Motorists experienced long delays on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junction 6 for Godstone and junction 5 for the M26, with queues stretching back to junction 7, however all lanes have now re-opened.

Drivers were being diverted off at junction 6 and through Westerham to reduce congestion.
