Kelly Tolhurst wins for the Conservatives

Voters have spent Thursday finally making their decision on who will lead the country – and the results are due in the early hours of Friday morning.

As soon as the results are announced, we will have the full results here.

The candidates are:

David Allen (Ukip) - 2,893

Steve Benson (Christian) - 163

Primerose Chiguri (Independent) - 129

Sonia Hyner (Green) - 781

Teresa Murray (Labour) - 19,382

Bart Ricketts (Lib Dems) - 1,189

Kelly Tolhurst (Cons) - 29,232

Turnout: 65%

Results of the 2015 election:

Prue Bray (Lib Dem) - 2.4%

Mark Reckless (Ukip) - 30.5%

Naushabah Khan (Lab) - 19.8%

Dan Burn (TUSC) - 0.4%

Clive Gregory (Green) - 2.9%

Kelly Tolhurst (Con) - 44.1% - ELECTED
