An e-fit has been released of a man who is alleged to have robbed a teenager in Ramsgate while falsely claiming to be a police officer.

It was reported that the suspect ordered the 17-year-old victim to empty his pockets in Chatham Passage at about 2.30pm on Sunday, before telling him they would be returned at the police station.

He then walked the boy to Cavendish Street via Chatham Street, Chapel Place and Meeting Street before giving him his belongings back apart from £60 cash.

The suspect is described as being in his late 30s, about 5ft 10in with dark hair and eyes, unshaven and with a grey or black tooth.

He was wearing light jeans, a black bomber jacket and black Adidas trainers.
