Fire crews rescued a trapped driver stuck in her car after colliding with a coach full of passengers on the M2 on Sunday.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to cut a space into the vehicle, so ambulance crews could treat the woman, who had become trapped by her injuries.

Once freed from her car, the casualty was handed over to the care of paramedics after the crash on the Londonbound carriageway between Faversham and Sittingbourne.

Kent Police have said her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

No other injuries were reported.
