Cyclist in hospital after crash in Dartford

A cyclist was taken to hospital on Tuesday morning after colliding with a car in Dartford.

Kent Police officers were called to Keyes Road in the Temple Hill just after 5.15am on Tuesday.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing three police cars at the scene following the crash.

A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed they were called at 5.17am, though no arrests were made.

South East Coast Ambulance Service was also called to the scene.

A spokesperson for Secamb said: “We were called to Temple Hill just before 5.15am to reports a bicycle had collided with a car.

“The cyclist was treated for a head injury and a shoulder injury, assessed at the scene taken to Princess Royal University Hospital.

“The patient was conscious when leaving the scene.”

One ambulance and one paramedic car were sent to the scene to treat the cyclist.
