Crash on A249 leaves four men with serious injuries near Stockbury

The crash happened on Saturday night

Five passengers were hospitalised by a serious crash near Stockbury over the weekend.

On Saturday, a Suzuki Alto and VW Golf collided on the Maidstone-bound carriageway of the A249, at the junction for Hucking.

Police and paramedics were called at around 8.10pm along with an air ambulance.

Four men suffered serious injuries in the crash, three of whom were taken to a London hospital.

Two more passengers were taken to a local hospital, one with serious injuries and the other with minor.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles immediately before or during the collision, or who have dashcam footage to get in contact.
