Commuters are facing delays of over an hour during the morning rush following a smash on the M25.

One lane was blocked near junction 6 for Godstone and has since re-opened, but queues remain stretching back past junction 5 for Sevenoaks and the M26 and junction 4 for Orpington.

Highways chiefs say traffic will begin to flow quicker by around 10am.
