Bungalow blaze in Birchington: 20 firefighters tackling the fire in seaside village

Solar panels on the property engulfed in flames

Fire crews are tackling a blaze in a bungalow in Birchington.

Around 20 firefighters and four fire engines are at the scene after a detached bungalow in Cunningham Crescent, off Grenham Road, caught light.

The roof and solar panels on the property have been engulfed in flames.

There are no reports of any casualties and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
