A teenager was knocked unconscious following a scuffle outside a Tunbridge Wells nightclub on Friday.

Officers were called to Church Road at around 3am following reports of an altercation involving a group of people.

It was reported that during the incident a man and a woman were pushed to the floor and a 16-year-old boy was also punched in the head.

As he fell, the teenager is said to have then struck his head on the pavement and was knocked unconscious.

Kent Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and the teenager was treated for his injuries, but declined being taken to hospital.

Two men were arrested close-by on suspicion of assault. They were later released, pending further investigation.
