Attack took place as she walked towards Ashford International railway station in the early hours of August 11

Police hunting for a man who assaulted a woman in an underpass close as she walked to Ashford International station have released an e-fit of the suspect.

The incident happened in an underpass beneath Station Road between 3am and 3.15am on Friday August 11.

The victim, who is in her 20s, says she was walking to the railway station when she was approached by a man who had been sitting in the underpass.

He is then alleged to have pushed her to the ground and pulled at her clothes before she was able to escape.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s and about 5ft 5in. He spoke in broken English and was wearing a dark hooded top, Nike trainers and carrying a black rucksack.
