Appeal to find sentimental pocket watch stolen in Sevenoaks burglary

Officers are appealing for information after a pocket watch of high sentimental value was stolen in a burglary in Sevenoaks.

An amount of cash, jewellery, electronics and a wallet were also reportedly stolen in the raid in Badgers Mount, some time between 8.15am and 6.30pm on July 18.

The victim describes the watch as a vintage gold pocket fob watch with the personalised inscription ‘Edgar Richards – an act of bravery 1929’.

The wallet is described as a pigskin oblong leather wallet with a faint number inside. It also has a personal inscription.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident or the identity of those involved.

They would also like to speak to anyone who has witnessed someone attempting to sell the stolen items.
