Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a Gillingham boy who hasn’t been since mid-July.

Destin Awere-Kyere was last seen in Marlborough Road on July 12, but he was not reported missing for another four days, on July 16.

The 15-year-old is reported to have travelled to Bexleyheath by train from the Medway town.

Police believe he is currently staying in the area, or in the neighbouring Greenwich borough.

Officers have released an image of Destin to help with their appeal to find him, three weeks on from his disappearance.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “He is described as being 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build and was last seen wearing a light grey hoodie with blue jeans.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 16-1606.”
