Accident causes traffic congestion on A2 at Gravesend

Road re-opened at 8.45am

An accident caused traffic congestion along the A2 this morning (Thursday) in Gravesend but all lanes have now been re-opened.

Police say the accident involved two motorcycles and a car and took place just before 7.45am. The road remained closed for an hour with diversions in place via slip roads.

Congestion was reported along the M2, the A228 at Strood and on A289 to Higham
