Hair Show at MidKent College

Models took to the catwalk to showcase the talents of Hair Design students at MidKent College.

Held in the Medway Campus’ 200-seat theatre, the annual event was the culmination of a year’s worth of hard work and also included a pre-show reception in the main entrance pavilion.

Students from the Hospitality and Catering department also helped out by welcoming invited guests and serving them refreshments throughout the evening.

“It was an absolutely fantastic show and demonstrated the strength of collaboration between different departments,” said Tracy Davies, programme area leader for Hair Design.

“Every year our students seem to raise the bar with their efforts and this year was no different because the standard of their work was so high.

“Shows like this do their confidence the world of good. They are so proud of what they have achieved, and it demonstrates to employers just what they are capable of.”

MidKent College runs a number of hair and beauty courses from its Medway and Maidstone campuses, covering everything from styling and cutting to nail services and photographic make-up.
