Armed robbers have threatened a woman who was holding a baby in her arms at a convenience store in Deal.
Police said the two men went into the shop on Ark Lane wielding knives on Monday.
The owner of the shop and his wife who was holding the child and a friend of the couple’s who were all standing by the till were threatened.
Detective Sergeant Mick Jones said: “These offenders were determined and ruthlessly threatened the owner’s wife while she was holding her baby.
“We need the help of the public to track down these men before they seriously hurt someone.”
The robbers stole cash from the till, alcohol and cigarettes and escaped in a car thought to be a black Fiat Cinquecento.
Both wore jackets with hoods that hid part of their faces.
