Strictly Come Dancing beauty Kelly Brook was in mourning today after her beloved dad died of cancer aged 57.
Proud Ken Parsons, a retired scaffolder, passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with the disease - just days after celebrating daughter Kelly's 28th birthday.
Kelly, who had been joint favourite to win the BBC celeb dance contest, could now quit Strictly to spend time with her devestated family.
Brit glamour girl Kelly, once voted the sexiest woman in the universe, had been in rehearsals for the hit BBC One reality show when she was told of the tragedy.
Ken and distraught wife Sandra, a former cook, have remained close to their daughter throughout her rise to fame and still live in Kelly's hometown of Rochester - just half an hour from the star's
£1million farmhouse at Grafty Green.
Sandra was seen leaving her semi-detached home at lunchtime yesterday and there was no answer at the £160,000 house this afternoon.
Kelly, who celebrated her 28th birthday last week, was joined in mourning by younger brother Damian and half-sister Sasha.
The model turned actress will also be supported by Hollywood actor boyfriend of four years, Titanic hunk Billy Zane.
It is believed terminally ill Ken was being cared for at the Wisdom Hospice in Rochester.
Kelly has spoken of her closeness to her dad, and takes him for a celebratory meal every Christmas at a luxury country to a hotel in Cliveden, Bucks.
Talking about her parents last year Kelly said: "It has taken a couple of years for them to get to know Billy. Now he and my dad get on really well.
"We went on holiday with my parents to Paros in Greece (in 2005).
"My dad and Billy are explorers. They would go off together and mum and I would lose them in temples and ruins. It drove us nuts."
She still lives just half an hour from her parents at a £1 million 15th century listed farmhouse in the tiny Kent village of Grafty Green, near Maidstone, Kent.
Her Strictly future was in the balance today.
A telly insider said: "Kelly was a real daddy's girl. She will be utterly distraught about what has happened to her dad and it seems highly unlikely she would be able to concentrate on her dancing.
"It is unbelievable to think she had been able to give such great performances every week with her dad's illness on her mind.
"And all credit to her for not using her dad's cancer to get sympathy votes from viewers."
