Artist Tracey Emin returned to her home town today to proudly hold aloft the Olympic torch as the iconic flame reached Margate.
Ms Emin, who currently has an exhibition in the town, stood outside the Turner Contemporary art gallery as, once again, huge crowds lined the route.
After working its way through Thanet, the torch heads to Canterbury, then Faversham before heading to Maidstone for an overnight stop.
