Big Blue Box will feature stars of hit show and raise money for charity

One of Doctor Who’s most feared enemies has paid a special visit to Tunbridge Wells - just weeks before hundreds of fans of the long-running sci-fi hit are set to descend on the town for an event dedicated to the Timelord.

The Cyberman paid a visit to the Trinity Theatre which will bost the Big Blue Box, a one-day Doctor Who convention taking place next month.

The event, which include appearances from stars and script-writers from the hugely popular show, takes place on January 14 and will raise funds for Compaid, a local charity working with disabled people.

Among those appearing to meet fans will be actresses Louise Jameson, Susan Jameson and writer Paul Magrs.

Tickets for the event are available now and cost £25. To book see www.trinitytheatre.net or call 01892 678678.
