The show will be performed in Dartford in September.

Tickets are on sale now for musical Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage, which will be performed at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, in September.

The musical tells the story of Baby, who is on holiday at Kellerman’s Resort with her family, and dance instructor Johnny.

He teaches her how to dance and the pair fall in love against all the odds.

Based on the 1987 film, the production has broken box office records and been performed around the world in countries including New Zealand, Germany and Sweden.

It opened at London’s Aldwych Theatre in 2006 and became the longest-running show in the theatre’s history.

The musical includes hits from the film such as Hungry Eyes, Hey! Baby, Do You Love Me? and (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.

It will be at the Orchard Theatre from September 1 to 10.
