Three members of the original seven will perform

Three members of pop icons S Club 7 are set to play at a Gravesend festival this weekend.

S Club Party will be headlining this year’s Riverside Festival at the Gordon Promenade on Saturday, with the likes of Big Brovaz and Booty Luv also performing.

Last year B*Witched headlined the popular event, and to keep the late 90s pop trend going, Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett will be performing some of the top S Club hits, including Reach, Bring it All Back and Don’t Stop Movin’.

The festival gets underway at 11am on Saturday, with local urban, dance and pop cover band Chaps also performing.

Leader of the council, Cllr David Turner said: “It’s great that the Riverside Festival is still a key date in our diaries because it’s enjoyed by so many and has so much to offer. I really am looking forward to it. We’ve got some great acts and a little something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us on the day.”
