Author will sign copies of new Wimpy Kid book at Bluewater

Author of the best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, Jeff Kinney, will be at Bluewater next week, signing copies of his latest volume.

The Long Haul is the latest Wimpy Kid book in a series which has become a huge hit - even spawning big screen adaptations.

Mr Kinney will be at Waterstones in the Greenhithe shopping centre on Friday, December 12, at 5pm.

As well as being an international bestselling author, Mr Kinney is also an online developer and designer.

He is the creator of the children’s virtual world, Poptropica and has been named one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world.

Upcoming events at the store include Deadly 60’s Steve Backshall signing copies of his new book, Deadly Pole To Pole on December 14 at 1pm, and American actress and comedian Grace Helbig, who will be signing copies of Grace’s Guide at noon on January 24.
